(Image)Internet fraudster sentence to 2 years in jail over $9,200 scam.

It was stated that a federal high court sittin in warri, Delta State has convincted and sentence him(Ighofose Oyoma) to two full years imprisonment.

Ighofose Oyoma was first arraigned by the EFCC, on may 3rd 2016 on a seven count charge bordering on conspiracy, Forgeryand Obtaining Money by false Pretence to the tune of Nine Thousand Two Hundred American Dollars($9,200).

On his arrainment, the convict pleaded that he's not guilty to the charge, but later changed his plead to being "guilty". Justice E.A Obile consequently convicted Ighofose and sentence him to two years imprisonment with an option to pay a fine of Three Hundred Thousand (N300,000.00) to be forfeited to Federal Government.

He also ordered that the payment receipt should be deposited to the court rigistry. Ighofose was arrested last year on may 2015 in Calabar, Cross River State following the intelligence report on his involvement in the internet scams.
