Nigeria teenage sensations, Kelechi Iheanacho of Manchester City, Arsenal’s Alex Iwobi joined other youngsters on the list of nominees for the 2016 UEFA Golden Boy award.
Iwobi and Iheanacho are part of the 10 Premier League-based players on the 40-man shortlist which recognises the best talent in Europe under the age of 21.
Nominees for the award must be born after January 1, 1996 and play for a European club.
The award, founded in 2003, relates to performances across a particular calendar year, with the winner decided by a panel of 30 journalists.
